The tensioner arm MPN1140 requires the use of a hydraulic or arbor press for pulley installation, as the bearing features an interference fit with the shaft.

While a high-quality bench vise may be used to generate the necessary installation force, impact methods such as hammering are not recommended, as they can result in deformation or damage to the pulley or bearing assembly.

During installation, it is critical to ensure that axial force is applied uniformly and that the pulley is aligned perpendicularly to the shaft axis to prevent misalignment, shaft scoring, or premature bearing failure.
